Sorry to revive an old thread, but i had a Hyosung GT250R '08 model (first bike). I rode that for 4 months in Perth, moved back to QLD, haven't ridden for over year. Picked up my GSX650F a week ago (second hand '11 model from a dealership. Found out the previous owner had already cut the wire. I did not find the bike hard to control or caught off guard by the added power. Only thing i'm disappointed about is not having the option for the extra grunt. Also, if an insurance company can find that 'cut' wire, then i deserve to be denied a claim should a fly off the rails. I wonder but duty of care the dealership have also with selling me a lams bike with full power?

I can confirm with dyno graph readouts if requested that disconnecting pin 30 does indeed take the bike from 30Hp to 70Hp, in effect fully de-restricting it.
It is not legal to do so in Australia. You will have no rego/insurance/riding without appropriate licence etc etc etc Yawnzzzz
Don't be fooled it is a B/W wire like many that go to the ECM so make sure you know which it is.
